The easiest way to get started with Java Config is to download the latest stable jar file from the javaconfig download page
Other files you will find here are binary and source distributions, which you can ofcourse also access by checking out the sources from CVS.
Please note that javaconfig requires Java 1.4. If you are interested in using Java Config in Java 1.3 environment, please read the FAQ.
